Toshiba's new generation low voltage MOSFET achieves lowest power losses and very good cost vs. performance ratio.
This new MOSFET generation reaches as well the best electrical performance considering figure of merit RDS(ON) x Qg plus extended production capacity to fulfill customers demand.
The new MOSFET series is coming in a 8 Pin 5mm x 6mm SMD package using a metal plate for advanced cooling performance.
The UMOS trench technology delivers best RDS(ON)*QOSS (on resistance to output charge product) balance. For example, the TPHR8504PL is a 40 V device and has a typical RDS(ON) of only 0.7 mΩ (max 0.85 mΩ) and a typical output capacitance (Coss) of 1930pF.
Target applications for the eighth and ninth generation U-MOS family include DC-DC converters, synchronous rectification and other power management circuitry where low-power operation, high-speed switching and minimum PCB real estate are needed.
