BLU Pure XL is another flagship killer with irresistible features

BLU mobile devices is out with their latest offering of a smartphone that most of will find it hard to deny as a buyer. I can’t help but call it an industry flagship with features that would beat the big guns fair and square.

The 6-inch BLU Pure XL has a Super AMOLED display (2560 x 1440 resolution @ 490 ppi), and is powered by the new 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helix X10 chipset clocked at 2GHz.

To make sure you don’t get stuck doing graphics intensive gaming or multitasking, the phone has 3GB of RAM and is assisted by PowerVR G6200 GPU. Although the aluminum frame of this phone makes it lightweight at 202 grams but it is a bit thick at 9.6mm.

Android Lollipop 5.1 powered BLU Pure XL impresses with an autofocus 24-megapixel rear camera (with True Tone LED Flash) that can record in 4K quality and an 8-megapixel front camera which lets you take some amazing selfies for social-media dominance. To store all those photos you have 64GB of ROM which is expandable with a MicroSD card. One feature that caught my eye is the one-touch fingerprint sensor which is placed on the backside of this phone and makes complete sense since while holding the phone our fingers embrace the back of any phone.

Pure XL has an impressive 3500 mAh battery which compliments the processing hardware and AMOLED screen very well, meaning that you’ll have to charge this phone lesser times. And yes, it will have wireless charging capabilities too. All-in-all a good package for a smartphone.

The price is also competitively placed at $350 (fully unlocked) and it will come in gold or grey color options. BLU Pure XL is going to be available for purchase on Amazon from September 29 with 4G LTE support on T-Mobile, AT&T and MetroPCS.
