iPhone 6s in rose gold color revealed at the Apple event
At its product event Apple have announced the new iPhone 6s along with iPhone 6s Plus, Apple TV and iPad Pro. For now we focus on the iPhone 6s which is very much similar in design to its predecessor but comes loaded with many new features.
After all the controversies with bendgate issue, Apple has made it a point to make the new iPhone chassis from ultra-strong 7000-series aluminum that won’t bend under pressure.
The 4.7” phone comes with Retina HD display and all new 3D Touch that lets you do more with every continuous touch.
The heart of iOS 9 powered iPhone 6s lies in the new 64-bit A9 chip with major improvements in CPU and GPU performance. You’ll experience better WiFi and LTE speeds along with tweaked voice-activated Siri that performs even better than before.
The refreshing new hardware is an autofocus 12-megapixel rear camera which can record in 4K resolution and a 5-megapixel camera with improved flash that adapts to the ambient lighting of the surroundings. A new feature for photo shooting is “Live Photos” which shoots one and a half second video on either side of the photo, but you can turn that option off to save phone space.
Apple Touch ID is also going to be an improvement in the iPhone 6s meaning that you’ll have better security and log-in method on your iPhone. According to Apple the hardware of iPhone 6s is closely knitted to iOS 9 operating environment meaning that you’ll have a far better and smooth experience while using your phone.
Apple iPhone 6s is going to be up for pre-order from September 12th and will ship by September 25th. The base 16GB model will carry a price tag of $199 (two-year contract), 64 GB model will be priced at $299 and you’ll have to pay $399 for the 128 GB one. And yes, it will come a new cheeky rose gold color along with the other contemporary color options.
