S500 integrates Quad-Core Cortex-A9R4 processor

S500 is 28nm process SOC that focuses on Android/Linux open source platform market. S500 integrates Quad-Core Cortex-A9R4 processor with NEON SIMD co-processor. 
 
3D GPU PowerVR SGX544 provides the best game experience and Full HD display. With independent VPU and ISP engine, smooth H.265 (HEVC) and Ultra HD (4K*2K) video playback are supported. It also captures up to 1080p@60fps high quality video.
 
Rich interfaces, including HDMI, MIPI and USB 3.0/2.0, and so on, support necessary connections with peripherals such as BluetoothTM, G sensor, camera sensors, WiFi and Displays, which help to build flexible solutions,. Up to 2GB DDR3/DDR3L/LPDDR2/LPDDR3 supports effective memory system. And together with our in-house designed PMU&Audio codec chip ACT260X, S500 provides fast and efficient solutions with reasonable price.
